Job Description

About the Role

The Data Analyst will work closely with sales and account management to demonstrate the value of AD retail media to advertising customers, including brands and agencies. As a key member of the Client Strategy & Analytics team, the analyst will generate reporting and data-based insights based on campaign and business performance, present campaign results across multiple media channels, and provide actionable recommendations for future success. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to identify optimizations and facilitate the scaling of ADRM reporting, capabilities, and client solutions. The position offers a flexible/hybrid work schedule with in-person and remote days at various core locations including Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, identifying, and delivering concise insights, trends, or patterns from media and retail data to clients to demonstrate the value of investing in ADRM.
  • Supporting the client by providing pre-sales guidance and final campaign reporting, culminating in actionable recommendations for future campaigns and areas of growth.
  • Partnering with sales team to present RMN campaign results to brand client teams and clearly articulating applicable media measurement approaches such as attributed sales, incrementality, test/control, retail media concepts, and media marketing objectives.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders, client accounts, and projects to provide timely and relevant insights, working with 2-3 sellers and 5-8 CPG accounts simultaneously.
  • Leveraging analytical skills and data platforms to create business reviews for top-tier clients, showing the relationship between marketing spend and retail sales revenue.
  • Asking probing questions to ensure business problems and analysis requirements are clearly defined.
  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams such as planning, ad ops, account management, and product to identify opportunities for brand clients.
  • Identifying process improvements and areas of optimization to increase reporting, client requests, and insights generation as part of the ADRM team’s growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of analytics experience.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data storytelling and delivering clear insights.
  • Ability to support eCommerce and/or grocery business and familiarity with retail media or ad technology platforms.
  • Experience with APIs and extraction/manipulation of large data sets.
  • Understanding of the business relationship between advertisers, agencies, publishers, and retailers.
  • Proven experience in using analytics to obtain insights and drive recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with retail media platforms, Circana or Nielsen data, and BI/Visualization tools.

Nice to Have

  • Any digital marketing certifications.
  • Background in grocery and CPG industry.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce and/or grocery business.
  • Experience with platforms like Circana or Nielsen.
  • Understanding of APIs and large data set manipulation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of analytics experience.

  • Salary range from $63,440 to $109,320 depending on location and experience.
