About the Role

The Market Client Relationship Manager (MCRM) leads service delivery, digital offerings, and wealth management banking strategies within the market, working closely with advisor teams and supporting client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the service delivery model and wealth management banking strategy of respective markets to drive business growth
  • Hires, develops, and leads a team of cross-functional professionals to support Financial Advisor teams and deliver outstanding client service
  • Supervises financial transactions and operations to drive risk management best practices and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Oversees the client service experience and reviews the approval of new client accounts
  • Leads Wealth Management Client Associates and the branch Operations Department to meet and exceed client service expectations and operational excellence goals
  • Manages the market expenses and serves as the Lead and Referral Coordinator for the market
  • Partners closely with the Senior Client Relationship Manager to support the development of the Elite Growth Practice roles, Wealth Management Client Associates, and Operations staff
  • Ensures client service expectations are met and exceeded while balancing risk and exposure for Merrill
  • Represents the office and Merrill with clients, prospects, vendors, regulators, and legal counsel
  • Coaches teams to deliver a modern, digital-first service model focusing on client satisfaction
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to connect Financial Advisors and clients to the broader enterprise
  • Manages daily operations ensuring compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Currently hold SIE, Series 7 AND Series 66 (or Series 63 AND Series 65), Series 9 AND Series 10 (or Series 8), or equivalent licenses and Series 3, 31 licenses if warranted
  • Minimum of 5+ years professional experience
  • Current or previous Merrill Wealth Management experience strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated and client-centric
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory and supervisory requirements and corporate policies and procedures
  • Investment product knowledge (e.g., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations, etc.)
  • Prior trend analysis experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong management skills, including planning, monitoring, influencing, negotiating, supervising, and delegating

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

  • Pay range $115,000.00 - $155,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set
