About the Role

TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Microsoft Subject Matter Expert. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable 12-month extensions. The position requires US Citizenship and a valid Secret Security Clearance. Work is performed remotely in EST. The Microsoft SME will support a government client based in Arlington, VA, serving as the expert on all aspects of Microsoft technology.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in meetings, discussions and demonstrations of applications and associated data in the development of applications in the classified, unclassified, and sensitive environments.
Research Microsoft solutions and make recommendations for improvements.
Lead using best practices in SQL development.

Requirements

15+ years of total database experience.
12+ years of SQL Server experience.
5+ years of ASP.NET C# MVC based web development experience using Visual Studio 2008 or higher.
5+ years of experience with Agile Methodologies.
1+ years of experience with .NETCore and/or .NET Standard.
Experience with SQL Server databases of at least 3 TB and 100 million rows of data.
Experience with the configuration of an application disaster recover option at a geographically separated facility.
MUST possess a Secret Security Clearance.
