About the Role

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Golang developer to assist with a large-scale migration decommissioning a legacy product. The role involves building out new features, validating, and testing within a backend team. The position can be remote but prioritizes candidates local to Boise, ID. Key Responsibilities

Assist with a large-scale migration decommissioning a legacy product.
Build out new features for the backend system.
Validate and test the developed features.
Collaborate within a development team to lead significant scope and drive complex projects to completion.

Requirements

Proven experience working within a development team to lead significant scope and drive complex projects to completion.
5+ years of strong back end software engineering in Object Oriented Programming (GO, Java).
3+ years of hands-on Golang experience.
5+ years of experience building RESTful APIs and/or gRPC within a distributed microservice architecture.
3+ years experience implementing Google Cloud Services.
Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
Experience with relational, graph, and NoSQL databases.
GCP Certification(s).
Experience with OWASP and PCI Data Security.
Experience with DEVOPS patterns and tooling (gitlab, Datadog).

Nice to Have

UI development experience (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 4/5, Bootstrap).

Qualifications

GCP Certification(s).
