About the Role

CGI Federal is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to support a Content Management System project for the federal government. This multi-year initiative aims to modernize technology, infrastructure, design, and software used to author, create, review, manage, publish, and distribute content to government clients and the public. The position is located in Lafayette, LA, with a hybrid work model acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate experience with Agile development methodology and DevOps.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and wants.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis to meet customer decision-making needs.
Elicit and develop high-quality requirements.
Test application functionality against requirements.
Collaborate effectively via virtual teams using collaborative workspaces and tools such as chat, Confluence, and Zoom.
Seek consultation with other analysts and experts to leverage analytical and technical expertise.

Requirements

Obtain a Public Trust clearance.
8 years of experience with SaaS cloud applications, with a preference for Power Platform.
Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft 365 (M365).
Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas confidently and clearly through verbal, written, and visual means.
Strong research, analytical, and elicitation skills.
Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to work and collaborate effectively with virtual teams using tools like chat, Confluence, and Zoom.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contract.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile development methodology and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

8 years of experience in SaaS cloud applications.
Experience with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and M365.
