About the Role

A leading tech company focusing on innovative ticketing and event management solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer for a full-time hybrid position based in Skokie, Illinois. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to streamline sales and enhance customer experiences in sports, entertainment, and live events. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team throughout the full development lifecycle, including troubleshooting and upgrading existing platforms for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions.
Collaborate with peers to gather requirements.
Write testable code and deliver high-quality systems through the full development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot, upgrade, and enhance existing platforms for optimal performance.
Participate in a balanced development effort with 50% front-end and 50% back-end work.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
6-8 years of experience as a software engineer.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working effectively in a Scrum/Agile environment.
3+ years with Angular/TypeScript.
4+ years with .Net Core.
3+ years with SQL or TSQL.
Knowledge of building APIs and services using REST.
Comfortable with continuous integration and continuous delivery with a strong DevOps focus.
Experience utilizing Cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
