About the Role

The Multimedia Coordinator supports MarineMax stores by creating videos and photos for online listings, sales, and internal use. This person should be a creative storyteller who's skilled in shooting and editing video, taking photos, setting up lighting and sound, and creating motion graphics. They'll work mostly on location at MarineMax stores, with a focus on marketing, project management, and digital tools to produce engaging visual content that promotes inventory, events, and the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Photograph in-stock boat inventory at stores for use in inventory listings on MarineMax.com, social media, and promotional outlets.
  • Film and edit walkthrough/tour style videos of in-stock boat inventory for online listings and promotional use.
  • Create content for store social media accounts to promote inventory, events, the store, and team members.
  • Develop videos and motion graphics for marketing, advertising, and online campaigns, including testimonials, informational videos, vlogs, and tutorials.
  • Capture video and still images both in-store and on-water environments.
  • Catalog and organize footage for easy access and future use.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content.
  • Edit videos to meet specifications and deliver through various channels.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships across departments and management.
  • Create creative, upscale video content while adhering to MarineMax branding guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of video production and photography experience.
  • Knowledge of videography, photography, and lighting in studio and on-location environments.
  • Ability to take creative direction, collaborate, and communicate effectively with marketing, sales, HR, and other departments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Presentation skills suitable for audiences at all levels.
  • Professional and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Project management experience with relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to storyboard, develop, and conceptualize creative projects.
  • Budgeting skills for production expenses.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects), Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Mac and PC platforms.
  • Experience with social media marketing (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) within brand guidelines.
  • Understanding of Google AdWords and Analytics.
  • Basecamp experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro and After Effects).
  • Proficiency in social media marketing platforms.
  • Experience with multimedia and web tools.
