About the Role

This position involves developing and maintaining web applications using .NET technologies, deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure, and collaborating with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines. The role is based in Silicon Valley, CA, and is suitable for local candidates with a preference for OPT visa holders. It offers a full-time contract opportunity with a focus on cloud-based application development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Developed and maintained web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C# following best coding practices.
Assisted in building and deploying applications to Microsoft Azure, including setting up App Services, Azure SQL, and Blob Storage.
Collaborated with senior developers and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git for automated builds and deployments.
Participated in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews as part of an Agile development team.
Wrote and optimized SQL queries and stored procedures to support application data needs.
Helped in containerizing .NET applications using Docker and explored deployment options in Azure.
Supported debugging, testing, and troubleshooting application issues across dev/test environments.
Documented code, created user guides, and contributed to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

Experience developing web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#.
Experience deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure SQL, and Blob Storage.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications across different environments.
Strong understanding of SQL queries and stored procedures.
