About the Role

The .NET Developer role involves interpreting written requirements and technical specifications to develop and maintain software solutions for business problems. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle, and ensuring the quality and functionality of software products.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret written requirements and technical specifications for software solutions to address business problems.
Develop software based on technical specifications.
Analyze and investigate reported problems with software solutions and document the results.
Perform maintenance of software and correct defects identified during the maintenance process.
Run unit tests on created software, implement test plans, test harnesses, and document test results.
Investigate and suggest solutions to defects and problems detected during testing.

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience in software development.
Ability to fully support all development phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with front end technologies/concepts: ASP.NET, Angular and/or AngularJS, JSON/XML, Sync/Async services.
Experience with back end technologies/concepts: .NET, .NET Core, C#, RESTful API design, Micro-Services, and Event-driven architecture.
Experience with Web API and RESTful services.
Experience with all aspects of testing: unit, functional, integration, end-to-end.
Experience with Atlassian tool suite: JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo (strongly preferred).
Comfortable with CI/CD concepts, unit testing principles, API test automation, and automated deployment pipeline tools.
Experience working in distributed monolithic and cloud-based micro-services environments, preferably with Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
