About the Role

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified .Net Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The role involves working in a hybrid model with a focus on the Provider domain, developing high-demand applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and maintainable digital solutions. The position is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, USA, and requires legal authorization to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# .Net Framework and SQL Server to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable applications using Angular JS and JavaScript.
Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
Utilize Azure services to deploy and manage applications ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications to ensure smooth operation.
Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintenance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Implement best practices for software development including version control, testing, and deployment processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all software development activities.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in SQL Server, C#, and .Net Framework with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Expertise in Angular JS and JavaScript for front-end development ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience with Azure services for application deployment and management, enhancing system integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and industry trends.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
