About the Role

The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is modernizing its legacy IT applications to support compliance, security, registration, and responsible gaming functions. This role involves developing full-stack solutions using current, supported technologies to mitigate risks associated with end-of-life applications and ensure ongoing operational support. The position is with the State of Michigan, dedicated to providing efficient, secure, and innovative digital solutions that improve the lives of its citizens. The work will be performed in Lansing, MI, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence two days a week and in-person interviews.

Key Responsibilities

Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, testers, and business analysts.
Ensure clean code practices, proper architecture patterns, and adherence to development standards.
Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and DevOps deployment processes.

Requirements

3+ years of strong hands-on experience with any front-end library/framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.JS.
3+ years of strong hands-on experience with .NET C#.
3+ years of experience in SQL Server.
