Node.js Lead Developer with Angular, AWS

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation and create Application Architecture Documents (AAD).
• Create design artifacts and review team deliverables.
• Deliver high-quality code supporting serverless frameworks using Node.js.
• Support deployment, post-deployment activities, and transition activities.
• Interface with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Analyze and resolve issues to ensure high-quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading application development teams (minimum 6-8 members) for AWS target environments (Web/Mobile/Desktop applications).
• Excellent in designing and writing code supporting serverless frameworks using Node.js.
• Strong understanding and 5 years of work experience in JavaScript and Typescript.
• Work experience of 3 years in Microservice architecture.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and work experience in Node.js and its APIs (e.g., File System, Clusters, Console, OS).

Nice to Have

• Working experience in developing frontend using Angular.
• Experience with web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, RXJS, JSON, DOM.
• Experience with Angular 7/8/10/14/15, Kendo UI, Angular Material, Bootstrap, jQuery, Docker, Selenium.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
• Ability to design the optimal data model based on application needs and system performance.
• Solid understanding of NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and DynamoDB.
• Ability to transform complex business requirements into technical design specifications.
• Experience working in a global delivery environment.
• Knowledge of Docker components: Engine, Hub, Machine, Compose, and Registry.
• Ability to adapt to modern technologies and learn new tools and applications.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and team orientation.
• Experience with tools responsible for automation processes.
• Ability to integrate server-side logic into Angular user-facing components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
