About the Role

Evernorth is seeking a People Analytics Senior Advisor to join our Human Resources & Services (HR&S) People Analytics Team. This team directly contributes to business outcomes through the development and delivery of analytics products. The role is accountable for delivering scaled analytics solutions and driving integration of talent data. We are looking for someone with a mix of domain knowledge with talent data, technical end-to-end analytic skills, and ability to innovate with new analytic and AI methods. The Business Analytics Senior Advisor will serve as a key partner to HR&S Centers of Excellence aligned to the organization's talent priorities. Travel is occasionally required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build intuitive dashboards and self-service analytics products using enterprise platforms like Tableau and Power BI to visualize workforce trends and KPIs, focusing on strategic and repeatable products with occasional ad hoc requests.
  • Deliver actionable, self-service insights through advanced people analytics to support talent strategy, workforce planning, and operational decision-making.
  • Apply predictive modeling and statistics to identify trends and forecast talent outcomes such as financial opportunities, retention risk, and performance impact.
  • Integrate and embed advanced analytics and/or artificial intelligence into existing HR People Analytics architecture to enhance analytics capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Manage Tableau environment structure, monitoring, permissioning, and support system upgrades or problem resolution as needed.
  • Review and manage Workday Prism Analytics jobs, including failure analysis and data updates related to retention and employee surveys.
  • Design and manage data structures and pipelines supporting accurate, integrated, and reliable talent data across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Develop test plans, release plans, and performance indicators, and investigate/remediate analytic product and data issues.
  • Lead proof-of-concept evaluations for new analytics technologies in the people analytics space.
  • Oversee People Analytics technologies, including integrations with transactional platforms like Workday, and manage relationships with vendors and technology partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders by shaping talent challenges into business opportunities through analytics, prioritizing requests, influencing data strategy, and driving product delivery.
  • Mentor HR users with training and documentation to improve data literacy in People Analytics products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; Masters Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or Economics preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience leading or directly participating in analytics teams; 15+ years with a mix of roles leading and influencing large cross-matrix partner groups preferred.
  • Deep, hands-on experience gathering, processing, and interpreting talent/workforce data.
  • Workday knowledge and experience with healthcare data, financial data, and external data stores preferred.
  • Expertise in large-scale data structures, automation methodologies, visualization techniques, advanced analytic models, and metrics construction.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, and data systems such as SQL Server and AWS.
  • Demonstrated experience with learning and implementing new technologies and products for large user bases.
