About the Role

This role supports Clients acquisition of Salucro as part of a major platform modernization initiative. The goal is to decouple a legacy monolithic healthcare payments platform integrated with major ERMs such as Cerner and Epic and re-engineer it using microservices architecture. The current application is built in PHP and will be re-implemented in GoLang. The focus is on PHP development skills, design principles, and system-level understanding rather than frameworks or tools.

Key Responsibilities

Write and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable PHP code for the legacy healthcare payment application
Understand and apply core software engineering design patterns and principles
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to decouple monolithic components into microservices
Participate in code reviews, peer discussions, and architecture planning
Assist with integrating the platform with Electronic Records Management systems (ERMs) like Cerner and Epic
Provide support during the re-engineering process to GoLang by helping translate legacy logic

Requirements

Strong PHP development experience
Deep understanding of software design principles and patterns (e.g., SOLID, MVC, dependency injection)
Ability to navigate and maintain large legacy codebases
Experience in enterprise application development
