PLM Solution Architect

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill) to meet organizational needs and business requirements.
• Develop custom PLM solutions, including Active Workspace customizations, to support specific business processes and initiatives.
• Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot PLM issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement within PLM and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency.
• Manage and support engineering change management processes within PLM, ensuring proper documentation and workflow.
• Manage and maintain PLM data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Facilitate integration between PLM and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, ERP).
• Provide training and guidance to PLM users, including mentoring junior engineers and graduates.
• Work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and IT professionals to ensure effective PLM implementation and utilization.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of PLM principles and experience with specific PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Custom built PLM Applications).
• Proficiency in PLM configuration, customization, and development tools.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PLM.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Familiarity with CPG industry sectors and engineering processes will be an added advantage.
• Experience with other enterprise PLM systems.
• Experience: 8-10 Years.
• Mandatory Skills: PLM-Product Lifecycle Management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise system integration (e.g., SAP, ERP).
• Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
