About the Role

Concurrent Technologies Corporation is seeking a Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Part-time) to join their Digital Mission Solutions (DMS) Division. The role involves working on cutting-edge IT solutions for high-priority areas within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and U.S. Government agencies. The company specializes in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud security, cybersecurity, and related disciplines, with a focus on innovative, customized solutions and DevSecOps practices. Key Responsibilities

Experience using GitLab/Jira and other DevOps tools, including building CI/CD pipelines and automated test tooling
Extensive experience with Python, especially automating infrastructure management or deployment
Troubleshooting C and/or C++ build/compile errors
Reverse Engineering, including symbolic execution
Use of Ghidra/IDA Pro (Ghidra preferred)
Knowledge of programming concepts related to memory allocation
Lower-level computing language/principles, especially debugging Assembly
Experience with Cyber Security research, especially malware anti-debugging, detection avoidance, or forensics

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline and 10 years of directly related experience, or a Master's degree and 8 years of directly related experience, or a PhD and 6 years of directly related experience
Seven (7) or more years' experience in software development
Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems such as processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, or large data manipulation
Ability to review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
Experience with software development methodologies appropriate to the environment
Ability to develop or implement algorithms to meet system performance and standards
Experience with software documentation, testing, and troubleshooting
Experience developing software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems (minimum 2 years)

Nice to Have

Experience with symbolic execution and reverse engineering tools like Ghidra/IDA Pro
Knowledge of low-level programming and debugging Assembly
Experience in malware anti-debugging, detection avoidance, or forensics

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years, or a PhD with 6 years
Seven (7) or more years' experience in software development
Experience developing software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems for at least 2 years
