Principal Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in designing, developing, and implementing innovative services.
• Create and drive the technology strategy for TCOO modernization initiatives.
• Infuse modernization best practices and GenAI into solutions.
• Standardize solutions across flagship programs including DISP, Contact Center as a Service, Fraud, Collections, KYC, and Negative News.
• Collaborate with CIO domain architects, business partners, and engineering teams to align roadmaps and rationalize capabilities.
• Ensure technology investments support enterprise goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 7+ years of application development using modern architecture stack and tooling.
• 5+ years of experience in designing solutions at enterprise scale across the business operations domain (e.g., consumer, retail, wholesale, payments, fraud, KYC, and negative news).
• 3+ years of experience in cloud adoption, enablement, or technical consulting roles within technology organizations.
• 3+ years of experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, OpenShift) and hands-on experience with cloud-native development.
• 3+ years of solutions architecture and cloud onboarding process experience.

Nice to Have

• Proficient in microservices architecture and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Harness).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, OpenShift Administrator).
• Experience in cloud adoption, enablement, or technical consulting roles within technology organizations.
• Experience in leading change in large corporate technology environments with pattern design, execution, and reusability.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to translate complex strategies into business-aligned narratives.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across architecture teams.
