Principal Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the technical path of projects, ensuring they align with business goals and adhere to industry's best practices.
• Design and develop software solutions, including establishing architecture and standards.
• Participate in defining and interpreting feature requests, documenting those requests in operational specifications, and designing specific services and features for stability, security, usability, and maintainability.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in software development processes and technologies.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring smooth software implementation and maintenance.
• Ensure high-quality code, perform testing and debugging, and provide guidance on code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster collaboration within the team.
• Collaborate with other teams (product management, UX/UI, QA) to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Perform with a team in an Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery software development process.
• Thrive in dynamic DevOps oriented software development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering.
• 10+ years strong ASP.Net web frameworks and React coding experience.
• Robust knowledge of multiple programming languages, such as C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Typescript libraries.
• Solid understanding of database and persistence design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Must have worked with Microsoft development tools like Visual Studio, Unit and Integration Test Frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Responsive Design, Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns and advanced programming concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Operating systems, Debug, Builds and Bug Tracking.
• A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to improve the status quo.
• Knowledge of Agile, CI, CD and DevOps processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform or consuming Azure Cloud services, Temporal Services.
• Exposure to AI/ML and LLM.
