This position is to join the RTX Enterprise Services team as a Fullstack Developer, focusing on the development, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with 5 years of related experience.
5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
Strong understanding of application architectures and related technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to application development and support.
Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
Certification in SAFe or other Agile frameworks.

Qualifications

Educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with at least 5 years of related experience.
