The Wearables Product Marketing organization influences early stage product development and roadmaps, creates go-to-market plans, drives in-market business growth, and provides direction for future investments. The role involves managing the go-to-market launch of future wearable products, representing the market and voice of the consumer within product development to ensure adoption, value, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an ongoing canonical understanding of the wearables ecosystem, and competitive landscape, to identify GTM considerations, emerging use cases, and other growth opportunities.
  • Lead the development of out-of-the-box GTM plans for new-to-world products, and drive integrated efforts across cross functional teams.
  • Develop and validate audience definition and sizing, product positioning, naming, and go-to-channel strategies.
  • Influence cross-functional teams (PM, Eng, Design, etc.) to build with the customer at the core, by building relationships, backing claims with data and analyses, and inspiring change through aligned goals and a shared vision.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, and sales teams to create product marketing communications, including press releases, blog posts, campaigns, presentation materials, etc.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant product marketing experience influencing product roadmaps and developing go-to-market strategies in close partnership with product teams.
  • Experience managing a high volume of complex and ambiguous programs, with significant self-direction and ability to recommend structures.
  • Demonstrated balance of creative and analytical thinking, with the ability to put forth clear and compelling vision, creative problem solving, and out-of-the-box thinking in building new categories or product areas.
  • Experience working in a fluid environment, adapting, spotting issues early, and escalating as needed.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform and influence product strategy.
  • Effective communication skills, including creating executive documents and presentations.
  • Growth mindset, viewing problems as opportunities and ambiguity as adventure.

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years of experience launching physical consumer products (e.g., consumer electronics).
  • Experience or domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, AI devices, and/or wearable and smart glasses devices.
  • Experience identifying and analyzing long-term, critical problems facing business areas such as marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance.
  • Experience with retail and point of sale strategies for consumer electronics, including product demos and education.
  • MS / MBA degree.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a BA/BS degree; an MS or MBA is preferred for some candidates.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range of $158,000/year to $223,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
