Project Manager I - Training and Media

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget through strong project leadership, organization, and client advocacy.
• Collaborate with Directors, stakeholders, and contributors to develop and track project plans, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, establishing tasks and resources, creating schedules, and monitoring progress.
• Identify problems or barriers to project success and develop solutions.
• Ensure quality and compliance of project documentation and file management.
• Evaluate and assess project results.
• Set up project plans, complete required documents, create and populate file management folders, and enter tasks and milestones into appropriate tools.
• Track project tasks and deliverables, monitor progress, and report to stakeholders.
• Support multiple projects with varying timelines and contributors.
• Coordinate and meet with project team members to monitor progress and identify resource needs.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, SOW development, and project planning.
• Participate in meetings with project stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and profitability, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting financials, and taking corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use Microsoft Project for the Web for project tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Project planning and time management skills.
• Associate Degree or relevant certification program.
• At least 1 year of experience in Project Coordination or Project Management.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• PMI certification (a plus).
