About the Role

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. We are looking for a process oriented Project Manager to take responsibility for growing number of LO application development and demonstration programs. The ideal candidate should have background in internal processes, procurement, preparing proposals and CDRLs, and supporting development programs. Also must have ability to work as part of an Integrated Product Team and perform duties necessary to accomplish the objective of meeting program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with development of project plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality and specification goals are attained.
Manage and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.
Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services.
Assign and monitor work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.
Administer and execute policies, processes, and procedures that impact the assigned project.
Create work authorizations, initiate and track procurements, support proposal processes, and help execute programs.
Provide assignments to the Integrated Product Team to achieve deliverables and ensure resources are in place to meet cost and schedule.

Requirements

Background in internal processes, procurement, preparing proposals and CDRLs.
Ability to work as part of an Integrated Product Team.
Experience supporting development programs.
Ability to perform duties necessary to meet program deliverables.
