About the Role

Publishing Pathways is a free, seven-week educational program designed for working professionals with five or more years of full-time work experience who are interested in learning about Penguin Random House and the publishing industry. The program features evening panels with industry professionals, proprietary learning materials, one-on-one meetings, and resume and cover letter reviews, providing participants with insights into careers in art and design within publishing.

Key Responsibilities

Attend evening classes, workshops, and panels related to art and design in the publishing industry during Phase 1 (July 1-10).
Participate in two informational interviews with art and design professionals at Penguin Random House during Phase 2 (July 14-25).
Have their cover letter and resume reviewed by a member of the Talent Acquisition team during Phase 3 (July 28-August 15).
Thoroughly answer all application questions and submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.

Requirements

Five or more years of full-time work experience.
Interest in learning about the publishing industry, specifically in art and design roles.
Ability to participate in evening classes, workshops, and informational interviews during specified dates.
Submission of a complete application including answers to questions, cover letter, and resume.
