About the Role

This is a compliance project involving migrating data from co-located servers to the cloud. The role requires a Python/AWS Developer to support the migration process, working in a hybrid office environment in New York City, NY or Plano, TX. The position is a 6-month contract focused on system design, scripting, testing, and debugging within a cloud migration context.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Python scripts, test, and debug code to support the migration project.
Discuss and review system designs related to the migration and cloud architecture.
Identify and communicate issues or problems uncovered during development or testing.
Assist with reading and developing Google API integrations if needed.

Requirements

6+ years of Python programming experience.
Ability to develop, test, and debug Python scripts.
AWS experience, specifically with Lambda, DynamoDB, and QuickSight (strongly preferred).
Experience with Google APIs, able to read and develop if needed.
Ability to discuss system designs and contribute to technical discussions.
Strong problem identification and communication skills, with willingness to ask for assistance when needed.
