Job Description

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will support the QA Lead in implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems for Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) activities related to World Bank-financed projects. The role involves ensuring data quality, compliance with standards, and supporting training and documentation efforts in a global, multi-region context. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with development and implementation of QA protocols and checklists.
  • Conduct quality reviews of data collection forms and submitted datasets.
  • Support real-time data validation and flag inconsistencies for resolution.
  • Perform regular reviews of monitoring outputs and help ensure deliverables meet technical standards.
  • Provide QA guidance to field supervisors and enumerators.
  • Assist with documentation of QA processes and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Support training of staff on data quality assurance tools and techniques.
  • Help prepare QA summaries for project reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience and a master's degree (in a relevant field) or a bachelor's degree (in a relevant field) with 7+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience with World Bank and strong familiarity with World Bank compliance standards.
  • Strong understanding of QA methods for field-based data collection and analysis.
  • Experience using digital monitoring platforms and validation tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; other languages preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to project countries if necessary.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in FCV (Fragile and Conflict-affected Settings) contexts.
