About the Role

Lending Science DM is a leader in scientifically driven marketing and risk management solutions for the financial and insurance industries in the US and abroad. We help clients acquire new customers, optimize marketing and risk metrics, and maximize profitability. Lending Science has over 30 years of industry-specific direct marketing experience in financial services. Our thorough understanding of marketing data, segmentation, ad copy creation, direct mail fulfillment, campaign tracking, reporting, and analytics has allowed us to drive high response rates on a continual basis and reduce marketing costs for some of the largest lending institutions in the country. At this time, Lending Science DM is not offering sponsorship for this role. This role is open to all candidates who are currently eligible to work in the United States for any employer on an ongoing basis. This role is not open to students on an F1 or J1 status with OPT.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding business needs for data and translating into data specifications.
Coding and execution of marketing reporting and optimization data.
Auditing of data and processes to ensure accuracy including reconciliation to source systems.
Providing ad-hoc and production reporting for various marketing clients across channels.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Analysts to collect data for creating and tailoring client reporting programs.
Execute data cleansing and processing of reporting data for client reporting.
Validation and QA data used for reporting and campaign optimization to detect errors at an early stage.
Identify trends in data and conduct thorough quality assurance testing, including reconciliation with source systems to ensure accuracy.
Partner with Analyst/AM to refine future reporting requests.
Maintain and enhance reporting programs in SAS/WPS or other programming languages.
Build and maintain new and existing Tableau reports.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain code repository, documenting code enhancements/changes.
Execute campaign performance reporting on a weekly/daily basis across various marketing channels and clients.

Requirements

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or other relevant degree.
3+ years in SAS, Tableau, SQL.
Strong ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize code and scripting in SAS and SQL.
Strong ability to build reports using Tableau.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Credit and/or credit bureau knowledge desired.

Nice to Have

Experience with WPS/SAS code understanding and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
3+ years of experience with SAS, Tableau, and SQL.
