Reporting & Analytics Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain resources such as people, funding, materials, and support to meet business unit information needs and strategic initiatives.
• Provide leadership to motivate project team members to achieve reporting and analytics goals and objectives.
• Report project status and progress to senior management within the business unit.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for assigned functional areas.
• Implement company and business unit policies, practices, and procedures.
• Provide input on area budgets.
• Establish relationships with internal and external business users.
• Oversee the entire reporting, analysis, and consulting unit or all aspects of a centralized function.
• Partner with senior leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives.
• Coordinate project management for assigned tasks.
• Communicate technical issues to customers in non-technical terms.
• Understand the business processes supported by the systems.

Requirements

• A BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience leading project teams, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with healthcare data and analytical concepts, including programming skills in SAS, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of attribution algorithms and clinical markers used in value-based programs (preferred).
• Experience developing databases and data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred).
• Ability to develop end-to-end analytical approaches independently (preferred).
• Effective communication skills, including facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and persuasion (preferred).

Nice to Have

• Significant knowledge of attribution algorithms and clinical markers used in value-based programs.
• 10+ years of experience with healthcare data and analytical concepts, including programming and data visualization.
• Expertise in developing databases and data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Ability to work independently on analytical projects and coordinate resources effectively.
• Strong communication skills including facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and persuasion.
