About the Role

The Revenue Analyst is accountable for analyzing data to understand future demand forecast, historical trends, and competition, providing recommendations and executing management on rate strategies to achieve budgeted goals for revenue, occupancy, and arrivals. The position involves managing property reports, rate and inventory management, building promotions, monitoring booking and rate integrity, supporting reservations and front desk teams, and assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and market research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze reports to ensure accuracy for all properties
  • Assist with executing rate & inventory management in respective systems (i.e., OnQ R&I, channel manager, and extranets)
  • Manage 1-3 non-branded properties to achieve budgeted goals, including rate & restriction changes, meeting with travel partners, Sales, & Marketing
  • Build promotions in multiple systems
  • Communicate new/modified Rate Plans & terms & conditions to System Set-up Team
  • Leverage reporting to monitor booking pace, inventory, occupancy, and historical trends, making recommendations based on analysis
  • Monitor and ensure rate integrity between Hilton.com and other distribution channels
  • Maintain and monitor group inventory and activity, including group build, rate quotes, cut-off, pick-up, block releases, and rate increases
  • Onboard new employees and provide ongoing professional development & training
  • Book VIP reservations
  • Support Reservations Team with rate quotes, inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving reservations issues
  • Submit Hilton GDM forms and follow-up on invalid credit card and charging deposits
  • Assist Front Desk Managers & Business Management with guest research, billing inquiries, and payment of commissions
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting
  • Assist Regional Revenue Manager with identifying and communicating rental availability gaps
  • Assist with market research including rate shops, guarantee, cancel policies, and updating event calendars
  • Assist Regional Revenue Managers & Revenue Managers with team training development, conduction, and tracking
  • Assist with reporting as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Leadership

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications with 2-3 years experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, & Adobe with 2-3 years experience
  • Ability to conduct thorough financial analysis

Nice to Have

  • Experience with rate and inventory management systems (e.g., OnQ R&I, channel manager, extranets)
  • Experience in hospitality or revenue management roles
  • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Adobe
