About the Role

This role involves assisting in the identification and shaping of future opportunities in the RF Sensing mission area within the space and national security sector. The candidate will work with a highly integrated team of technical professionals and cross-functional disciplines to achieve sales growth objectives, develop strategic plans, and support business development efforts in national security space missions. The position requires engagement with external customers, industry partnerships, and collaboration with engineering leadership to support strategic growth and pursuit of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute an overall customer focused strategic plan addressing both short & long-term growth.
Identify & establish key industry partnerships to maximize new business growth within this market.
Actively participate in capture teams on key business opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering leadership to create technology roadmaps & related IR&D and CR&D projects to develop discriminators necessary to develop and win new business.
Lead cross business integration & partnership activities related to these Customers.
Shape & win new business through a balanced focus on the customer's mission, best value, and the competitive environment.
Develop & maintain effective customer, teammate, & internal relationships.

Requirements

Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD or National Security Space, OR experience with Space opportunity management and capture.
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 years of business development experience within the IC and/or DoD.
Experience working on National Security Space missions and/or business development.
Strong communication skills, including experience delivering executive-level communications.
Experience performing business analysis or trade studies.
Experience developing complex proposal materials.
Experience developing strategies/campaigns for emerging mission areas.

Nice to Have

Experience working collaboratively across functional organizations, Enterprise Operations, and/or LM Business Areas.
Demonstrated experience in performing business analysis or trade studies.
Experience developing strategies/campaigns for emerging mission areas.

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
