Key Responsibilities

Identify and help to cultivate strategic partners to integrate BILL's growing embedded solution portfolio, including accounts payable & payments platform
Manage existing relationships, ensuring success and growth of the partnership
Partner closely with R&D, marketing, finance, and other key teams to create joint GTM plans, prioritize features and functionality, and drive deals from discovery to execution
Support negotiations, commercial structuring, joint GTM strategy, and execution of partnership agreements to drive business growth and create win-win scenarios
Create internal and external documents to create understanding, generate buy-in and drive impact
Drive multiple cross-functional internal and external workstreams from inception to launch
Create playbooks and processes to accelerate pipelines & streamline BD & GTM efforts
Prepare financial analysis to quantify deal costs, risks, benefits and decision making
Steer and/or collaborate with finance team members to perform financial planning exercises and operationalize models
Utilize data and market trends to inform decision-making, refine strategies, and seize new opportunities
Build relationships with partners and key stakeholders to foster cross-functional buy-in and unlock expansion opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new markets, verticals, and channels for expansion

Requirements

5-7+ years of success in business development, investment banking, or strategic partnerships within the fintech, software, technology, and/or payments sectors
Experience driving complex strategic partnerships and relationships from discovery to launch
Bias to Action: A driven self-starter who loves to execute at the highest level, balancing big picture strategy with attention to detail
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships at all organizational levels
Deep understanding of the fintech landscape, APIs, and emerging market trends
Strong experience supporting complex negotiations, deal structuring, and partnership or legal agreement execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Adept at navigating ambiguity and adapting strategies in a rapidly changing environment
