SAP Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk and complex projects by leveraging cross-functional resources and capabilities.
• Follow SAP delivery models using ASAP methodology, tools, and procedures.
• Identify resources and recommend work distribution among employees and subcontractors.
• Review project plans and scope with the project team to ensure understanding of tasks and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish scope, cost, schedule, quality, and deliverables for SAP projects.
• Use SAP Portfolio experience to deliver large-scale enterprise value initiatives.
• Escalate project issues early and manage ongoing risks by evaluating situations and identifying solutions.
• Build proactive communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as an internal contact for SAP solutions, supporting diverse teams and clients including business managers, directors, and executive staff.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities for FI-CO modules and provide support to other functions.
• Act as a focal point for Finance Visual Management & Reporting in North America.
• Manage SAP Business Warehouse (IFRP) in Finance North America.
• Train, develop, and deploy visualization tools such as Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlik Sense, Appsheet, and Alteryx.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant, applicable experience.
• Expertise in using data visualization software and SAP ERP systems, including BW, SAC, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Alteryx.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance modules and integration with major SAP modules such as MM-PP-SD.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into strategies and initiatives.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (15%).
• Eligible for employment in the US.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree (highly preferred).
• PMP Certification.
• SAP FI / CO certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of applicable experience.
• Expertise in SAP ERP and related systems.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance modules and integration with other SAP modules.
