Key Responsibilities

Support clients in transforming their business problems through engineering solutions.
Assist engagement teams through analysis of business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and customer experience.
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
Collaborate with clients to modernize systems, processes, and products using Microservices, Cloud, API Management, and open source technologies.
Work in an agile environment, participating in requirements definition, engineering design, development, and testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in technology software development.
Back-end experience with modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Front-end development experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or responsive web design.
Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
Experience with modern collaborative development tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with testing frameworks for unit and integration testing, and knowledge of TDD or BDD methodologies.
Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to Have

Experience with Akka/Scala, Kafka/RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, AngularJS/ReactJS, Hadoop/Spark/Flume, MongoDB/Cassandra/NoSQL databases, and Actimize.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Salary range in the US from $66,300 to $135,400, with higher ranges in New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California.
