About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Delta Co-Brand Acquisition Marketing at American Express is responsible for driving new card acquisition through various channels such as email, in-airport, and emerging platforms. This role involves working closely with internal and external cross-functional partners to develop and execute strategic marketing plans aimed at growth and acquisition, supporting the company's broader goal of attracting and retaining new commercial prospects within the Small Business Partner Marketing team of GCS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to acquire new accounts through Delta email, In-Airport, and Emerging channels that align with partner, product and channel priorities
  • Monitor, report, and analyze channel performance, including owning weekly channel reporting, campaign analyses, and a monthly portfolio performance overview, sharing ongoing insights with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Support the development of monthly and annual forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics on email targeting to identify and address opportunities to support and grow the Small Business portfolio
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and external partners to manage compliance operations in the in-airport channels
  • Support innovation in the in-airport sales channels and own the development and approval of training curriculum
  • Support the assessment and launch of new emerging channels
  • Partner with the Marketing Operations Analyst to ensure flawless execution of all campaigns

Requirements

  • Previous experience in marketing, product, or a related function with transferable skillsets
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, operate autonomously, and prioritize effectively
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate reporting systems, interpret data, and translate into insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Experience working with external partners or in a partnerships role
  • Field sales or product training development experience
