Senior Analytics Consultant - Consumer Lending DAR

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Review and analyze moderately complex, large structured and unstructured data sets from various sources, requiring an in-depth hypothesis generation and advanced analysis of variable factors to convert data into meaningful insights and recommendations
• Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
• Develop impactful dashboards and visualizations for senior leadership, leveraging the latest data and analytics platforms to deliver next-day insights on SLAs, KPIs, and productivity metrics
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Requirements

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• 1+ years of Python experience
• 1+ years of hands-on programming using SQL or SAS

Nice to Have

• Teradata & ML Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Teradata/Teradata Vantage, including writing SQL queries and utilizing built-in Machine Learning (ML) functions
• Python & SQL Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with a particular emphasis on working within Teradata environments
• ML & NLP Expertise: Solid foundation in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, with practical experience applying these techniques to real-world problems
• LLM & Prompt Engineering: Familiarity with Large Language Models and prompt engineering techniques
• Consultative Problem Solving: Ability to understand business needs, develop analytical solutions, and communicate insights effectively
• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Proficiency in data manipulation using SQL and converting datasets into actionable insights
• Business Acumen & Multitasking: Ability to quickly grasp business concepts, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to shifting demands
• Operational Metrics Development: Proven ability to design and implement operational metrics supporting strategic initiatives
• Collaboration & Initiative: Ability to work well in teams and independently, take initiative, and embrace challenging assignments
