Senior Associate Consultant -Java Springboot and Microservices

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing back-end services using Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensuring the security and robustness of applications.
• Working in a global delivery environment and possibly traveling within the US as required.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, or willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Kafka, GitHub.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and Data Structures.
• Experience working with RDBMS databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular.
• Experience with TDD practices and frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Karma, Jasmine.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications for performance optimization.
• Experience and interest in working in a global delivery environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Cloud implementation including Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience in developing and deploying Microservices, Data Modeling, Database Design, and Performance Tuning.
• Experience with Middleware, open-source tools, and technologies.
• Experience in production support and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of relevant experience.
