Senior AWS Data DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, reliable and effective data solutions on AWS, including data ingestion, ETL pipelines, data storage, monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot failure or performance issues in data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss use cases, requirements, and objectives, developing effective data ingestion and data analytics solutions across the organization and global Toyota affiliates, and ensuring timely delivery of data solution projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex data solutions in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion, data modeling, data storage, ETL, and reporting, with a focus on streaming and event-driven logging using AWS services (MSK, Lambda, EC2, ECS, Glue, S3, etc).
• Knowledge in managing data security, compliance, and monitoring using AWS services (KMS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Athena and Power BI.
• Preferred programming expertise in Python, SQL, serverless cloud programming (functions, lambdas, etc).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative work environment, with flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed.

Nice to Have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or related certifications.
• Experience in cybersecurity domain.
• Experience with SIEM solutions, such as Microsoft Sentinel.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, focusing on big data and analytics services.
