We're seeking a Back-End Engineer to build and integrate services that enable AI-powered features in our multitenant CCaaS platform. You will develop APIs and back-end logic that support transcript ingestion, model training orchestration, and results delivery. This role is key to delivering seamless integration between machine learning workflows and user-facing features. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure our AI capabilities are well integrated and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
Integrate with AWS resources to manage model triggers, batch jobs, and inference results.
Ensure services are multitenant-aware and follow isolation and access control best practices.
Collaborate with front-end and product teams to support user-facing workflows.
Respond to escalated production issues, sometimes outside normal business hours.
Implement monitoring and health checks for deployed services.

Requirements

4+ years of experience building back-end services in a cloud environment.
Proficiency with AWS services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
Strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
Comfortable with Python and one additional backend language (e.g., C#, Java).

Nice to Have

Experience integrating with ML workflows or inference APIs.
Knowledge of multitenant architecture and security patterns.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana.
