About the Role

The Senior Data Insights Consultant will join the Business Insights team to provide data skills and business knowledge that support clients in making data-driven decisions to improve their digital communication. The role involves designing data solutions, interpreting business requests, and translating complex data into actionable marketing and CRM recommendations within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment at VML MAP, a global leader in hyper-personalization, marketing automation, and customer-centric transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and design value-adding insights solutions leveraging data to optimize communication strategies.
Interpret business requests and clarify data requirements.
Assist and advise on data models and scoping of new projects.
Provide answers and insights to business-related questions via automated reporting solutions as well as ad-hoc data analyses.
Analyze client prospect and customer data to glean insights informing experience, content, and performance optimizations.
Collaborate with specialists including Account Managers, Architects, Developers, Creatives, Strategists, Data Scientists, and Marketing Operations experts to service clients effectively.
Translate complex data (statistical, predictive, customer) into clear, actionable business recommendations for marketing and CRM.
Design and manage measurement frameworks, including attribution and in-market testing.
Bridge technical analytics with business strategy, driving roadmaps for customer data and audience planning.
Apply familiarity with multi-touch attribution approaches involving paid and owned channels.

Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years in a senior consultant/business liaison role related to data, BI, analytics or reporting solutions.
Hands-on experience working with SQL, databases, ETL, reporting, and data analysis through R, Python, or similar tools.
Experience with report and dashboard development in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Great communication skills in English.
Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into insights.
Eagerness to learn and understand high-tech solutions and complex data environments.
Drive, enthusiasm, and technical skills to lead client discussions on data and insights.

Nice to Have

Experience with database and data model design for BI and analytics solutions.
Experience with Google Insights/Google Analytics, Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery, Adobe Analytics, and Salesforce.
Agency experience and marketing domain knowledge are advantageous but not required.
