About the Role

The Senior Designer, Brand Design supports the AVP, Head of Brand Design and the Marketing and Growth Organization at AT&T. This role involves creating deep emotional brand experiences, conceptual development, design refinement, asset and system buildout, and guideline authorship. The position requires a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in brand design, who can bring bold ideas, human-centered obsession, and enthusiasm to push the brand to the next level. The role is based in Dallas, TX, with a minimum of 5 days per week in the office, and involves collaborating across departments to ensure project success and build strong enterprise-wide relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizes, plans, produces and/or refines a diverse range of creative ideas and specialized graphic or illustrative material for team consideration against the strategic brief.
  • Owns and is accountable for assigned projects, understanding deadlines and budgets, and maintaining quality of output.
  • Pro-actively manages up with practice leads and leadership to provide insight and feedback on project status and work.
  • Cultivates fresh ideas and nurtures a growing creative culture that inspires others to excel.
  • Communicates effectively verbally and visually, presenting design rationale during internal/external presentations and critiques.
  • Attends and contributes during internal/external work sessions, critiques, and presentations.

Requirements

  • BFA/BS (or equivalent experience) in brand, graphic, or communication design, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in brand design.
  • Technical skills related to Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Microsoft programs, etc.
  • Ability to draw or represent design thinking using traditional design tools, including hand skills.
  • Effective visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present ideas to senior leaders with confidence and ease.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with short-term deadlines and ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • In-house corporate experience.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in brand, graphic, or communication design or similar field.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in brand design.
