Senior Developer Back End, Digital Tax Services

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work with lead developers and architects to understand and implement solutions to challenging business problems.
• Contribute to the development of clean architecture with an emphasis on reusable components.
• Respond to escalated support issues.
• Build efficient and maintainable code.
• Test work to ensure high standards of quality.
• Mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, management of information systems, or information technology and accounting AND/OR a master's degree in a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET, C#, and object-oriented principles.
• Experience with relational databases like MSSQL or PostgreSQL.
• Web API development and testing.
• Azure hosting and integration of common services.
• Problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
• Strong interest in technology and its use in business processes.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• Excellent communication and business writing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Tax knowledge and related experience is a plus.
• Partnership tiering and allocation, Asset Wealth Management, or Private Equity experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

• React front end technology experience.
