Senior DevOps Engineer with TS/SCI FSP

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and automate various platforms and applications to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Ensure consistency in deployment and build processes across multiple environments.
• Work with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and more.
• Participate in large-scale projects, ideally in AWS, with experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python.
• Apply expertise in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment.
• Set up, configure, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work within Agile software development frameworks, collaborating closely with teams to ensure high-quality, functional, production-ready code and infrastructure.
• Translate product specifications and customer needs into reliable, production-ready systems.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Senior-level expertise with 7+ years of experience, including advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS (S3, VPCs, EC2, ECS/EKS, Networking).
• In-depth experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure at scale using AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate and provision infrastructure.
• Expert-level knowledge in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to automate the development lifecycle.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ruby, focused on automating infrastructure management and cloud resource provisioning.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proactive, self-driven approach to learning and sharing knowledge across teams.
• CWIP IAT Level I certification is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior-level experience in DevOps or related fields.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud services.
• CWIP IAT Level I certification.
