About the Role

The Senior Director of Online & K-12 Enrollment Marketing at Texas Tech University leads the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive online enrollment growth across various programs and disciplines. This role involves building dynamic marketing efforts, expanding the university's online presence, and enhancing its reputation in digital education. The position manages and directs the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, develops policies, oversees budgets, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve enrollment objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for the online enrollment marketing strategy aligned with the university's goals and mission.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define enrollment targets, analyze market trends, and identify marketing opportunities.
  • Design and implement innovative marketing campaigns targeting prospective online learners across digital channels.
  • Utilize market research and data analysis to identify key audiences and develop engagement strategies.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content showcasing online programs to support prospective student decision-making.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and enrollment teams to develop program-specific marketing materials.
  • Foster partnerships with external organizations, influencers, and industry experts to enhance credibility and visibility.
  • Use data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize enrollment outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, setting goals and ensuring efforts align with enrollment objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget for online enrollment, allocating resources to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as admissions, academic departments, and student services to ensure a seamless enrollment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field based on assigned area of responsibility.
  • Six years of progressively responsible management experience.
  • Additional education beyond Bachelor's may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in marketing, business administration, higher education administration, or related field.
  • Five years of progressive marketing experience, with at least three years in a leadership role focused on enrollment or digital education marketing.
  • Proven success in developing and executing data-driven marketing campaigns that increase enrollment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and relevant tools for campaign tracking and performance measurement.
  • Innovative mindset with ability to adapt to evolving trends in online education and digital marketing.
