About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Full stack Developer (React). This position's primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The role involves working across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gathering requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing scalable, relevant applications that adhere to best practices. The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or willing to relocate, with potential travel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks.
Work across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and scope of development.
Identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment.
Contribute towards developing and adhering to best practices for scalable and relevant application development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java/J2EE technologies for developing J2EE-based web applications.
Hands-on experience with Java Spring ecosystem, Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and RESTful Web Services/SOAP.
Experience in React, Redux, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Experience with any cloud platform (AWS or Azure).

Nice to Have

Good hands-on experience in Kafka Messaging.
Exposure and experience with Microservices design principles and architecture.
Experience with JUnit, unit testing principles, and tools like Mockito.
Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes ecosystem and CI/CD principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or three years of relevant experience.
