This role involves working on full lifecycle application development, designing and maintaining customer-facing and internal web applications, experimenting with new technologies, and collaborating with peers and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions within the Digital Experience team at Pure Storage.

Key Responsibilities

Working on full lifecycle application development
Designing, developing and maintaining customer-facing and internal-facing web applications, using technologies such as backend microservices in Java, Python, NodeJS, and frontend work in Angular and Typescript
Experimenting with new technologies and architectural patterns such as containers (k8s) or microfrontends to innovate solutions
Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial design to production
Focusing on design, development, unit testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration and continuous deployment

Requirements

Experience designing, implementing and testing various product components
4+ years in any of the following programming languages: Java, Python
Nice to have: Typescript/Javascript
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, networking infrastructure and NoSQL is a plus
Willingness to work from the Bellevue office in accordance with company policies

Formal experience in designing, implementing, and testing product components
4+ years of experience in Java or Python
