About the Role

The Product Experience (PE) organization at Snowflake powers the unified user experience. All major Snowflake customers interact with our platform through these surfaces, making PE central to driving both customer satisfaction and revenue growth. As we evolve our product, PE's mission is to accelerate time-to-value for our users by simplifying the way they leverage Snowflake's capabilities, with a relentless focus on reliability, consistency, productivity, and innovation, especially through AI. The WEX sub-org within PE builds product experiences for major workloads including governance, security, manageability, analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, and more. This role is a technical leadership position focusing on driving impactful product and infrastructure initiatives across Data Governance, Security, and Organization Manageability to support Snowflake's global scale and secure, reliable value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enable customers to discover, secure, audit, and manage their data through next-generation Data Governance and Security UX, partnering with backend and product teams to build industry-defining experiences across Horizon Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Authentication/IAM, Trust Center, and other related areas.
  • Shape and deliver Orgs 2.0, creating smooth admin experiences and reliable multi-account operations to support hundreds of organizations managing Snowflake usage across complex environments.
  • Champion the development of agentic code systems, including generative AI and code authoring tools, to enhance developer productivity.
  • Architect and implement the measurement and eventing infrastructure that underpins user analytics, adoption metrics, and in-product notifications to enable rapid experimentation and data-informed iteration.
  • Lead initiatives to improve latency, reliability, and scalability of interfaces and supporting infrastructure, standardizing engineering practices and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in building large-scale, modern front-end and/or fullstack applications, especially in high-impact user/productivity surfaces.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries, particularly React, and proficiency in building complex, interactive user interfaces with a strong understanding of component-based architecture.
  • Solid understanding of front-end development best practices, including state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience architecting product and infrastructure systems at enterprise/SaaS scale with measurable improvements in performance, reliability, and user-centric design.
  • Passion for cross-functional collaboration with product, security, governance, AI/ML engineering, and design teams.
  • A vision for how agentic systems and AI can transform productivity and secure data ecosystems.
  • Leadership qualities in mentoring others, raising technical and collaborative standards, and influencing best practices across domains.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with AI/ML systems and generative AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with security, governance, and manageability tools within cloud platforms.
  • Experience in building scalable enterprise SaaS applications.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in front-end or fullstack application development at scale.
  • Proficiency with React and modern front-end development practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise systems.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive salary with an estimated range of $195,000 - $287,500.
  • Participation in Snowflake's bonus and equity plans.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings accounts.
  • At least 12 paid holidays, paid time off, parental leave, and employee assistance programs.
