About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Architecture and Engineering group as part of Consumer Technology. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand test data requirements, design and implement processes for test data creation, masking, sub setting, and refresh, and support data privacy and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA. The role involves developing automation tools, monitoring data issues, maintaining documentation, and participating in audits related to data handling and security.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Design complex system upgrades
Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
2+ years of experience in test data management, QA, or data engineering
3+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry
2+ years of experience with Hogan banking systems, including knowledge of its data structures and processing workflows

Nice to Have

Proven ability to interpret and apply business rules to ensure accurate and relevant test data provisioning
Experience with test data management tools (e.g., Delphix, Informatica TDM, CA Test Data Manager)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with data masking, sub setting, and synthetic data generation tools
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell)
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
