About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful backend APIs
• Implement Apache Flink for real-time data processing
• Build reporting services and analytics
• Develop microservices architecture components
• Integrate with message streaming platforms
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business leaders

Requirements

• Masters or Engineering degree
• Minimum of 13 years of experience in development with 10+ years of Java development experience
• 3+ years of experience in the financial services sector
• Experience with enterprise financial applications
• Understanding of PCI-DSS and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of secure data handling practices
• Proven experience with microservices architecture
• Core Technologies: Java 11+ with Spring Boot framework
• Stream Processing: Apache Flink for data aggregation
• Messaging: Apache Kafka implementation
• Database: PostgreSQL with strong SQL and RDBMS expertise
• Cloud: AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
• Architecture: Microservices design patterns
