About the Role

As a Java Spring Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by developing applications. You will be a valued member of the Banking and financial team and work collaboratively with managers, primary teams, or other stakeholders and teams. This role involves hands-on development, testing, and working with cloud platforms, within a company that values flexibility, work-life balance, and a collaborative, inclusive workplace environment at Cognizant.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on development of Stories assigned
Perform unit and integration testing using JUnit
Utilize DevOps tools and experience in CI/CD software
Work within Agile methodology
Manage Git branches and releases
Work with Azure or AWS Cloud Platform

Requirements

Skilled Full stack Java Developer with 7+ years of experience using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL
At least 5 years of experience developing APIs with GraphQL or REST
Experience working with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud)
Experience designing and implementing microservices end to end
Good understanding of containerized applications
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Rancher
Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mockito or JUnit
Experience with integration involving Ping Federation and Apigee

Nice to Have

Cloud experience using Azure
Experience with SQL Server and Cassandra Databases or similar
Experience creating UML diagrams with Visio or draw.io
React UI experience
