The FI Data Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Java Developer responsible for crafting, building, and maintaining the operational and analytical capability in FI. The team provides know-how, talent, and standards in many areas of Wealth Management including planning & advice, investment products, managed solutions, life insurance, retirement & income planning, and large-scale platform development & operation. As a technology leader on our team, you will have a direct and positive impact on Fidelity's customers and support a phenomenal learning culture.

Key Responsibilities

Applying strong software development skills within a team to produce high-quality, testable, and reliably deployed code for sophisticated products and components.
Building and maintaining operational and analytical capabilities in Fidelity's Data Solutions.
Collaborating on emerging Managed & Advisory suite of applications as part of a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Ensuring effectiveness of code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Interacting effectively with all levels of management and personnel.
Documenting processes and procedures as assigned.

Requirements

8+ years of proven experience in developing Java-based applications.
Hands-on experience with Java 17 or better.
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins/Maven), Git, Terraform, Artifactory, and Jira (or equivalents).
Ability to manage multiple APIs simultaneously and API orchestration skills.
Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of management and personnel.
Ability to work independently and professionally under high pressure and tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

Experience with API orchestration and management.
Experience working in financial services or wealth management technology.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
