Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Account Integrity

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build machine learning solutions to respond to and mitigate business risks in TikTok products and platforms, such as abusive accounts, fake engagements, spam, scraping, and fraud.
• Improve modeling infrastructures, labels, features, and algorithms to enhance robustness, automation, and generalization, reducing operational load and supporting new product and risk ramp-ups.
• Uplevel risk machine learning excellence focusing on privacy, compliance, interpretability, and risk perception and analysis.

Requirements

• Master or above degree in computer science, statistics, or other relevant, machine-learning-heavy majors.
• Solid engineering skills with proficiency in at least two of: Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Storm.
• Strong machine learning background with proficiency or publications in modern machine learning theories and applications such as deep neural networks, transfer/multi-task learning, reinforcement learning, time series, or graph unsupervised learning.
• Ability to think critically, objectively, and rationally, and to communicate in a result-oriented, data-driven manner.
• High level of autonomy.

Nice to Have

• 3 years of industry experience in a software development environment.

• Educational background with a master's degree or higher in relevant fields.

• Annual base salary range of $194,000 - $355,000, depending on qualifications, skills, and location.
